Sports like you have never had before! Sports Academy students will not only receive specialized skill and fitness training in hockey, soccer or gymnastics, cheer and dance, they will also have the benefit of an enhanced physical education program.

Students will encounter physical workouts on and off the ice/field and will receive professional instruction within an environment suitable for their overall development as a player. This environment will be both relaxed and disciplined allowing the athlete to embrace all activities with an understanding of what is expected from them.

Gymnastics, Cheer & Dance Program

Greater St. Albert Sports Academy is proud to partner with Dynamyx Gymnastics Club and Alberta Cheer Empire for the Gymnastics, Cheer, Dance program for grades 4-9. This program will give students an opportunity to experience Gymnastics, Cheer and Dance.

GCD is for all skill levels and will be offered at all five Academy schools* on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings (elementary grades) and afternoons (junior high grades). Through this program, athletes will have the opportunity to perform within the community and in their schools. Performance Athletics promotes confidence in all athletes through hard work, dedication and fun!

On-ice sessions (September - June)

All students will have two ice times per week where individual skills are analyzed and developed.
